| The Bideford Amateur Athletic Club,(Bideford AAC) known
locally as "the Blues", was formed in 1870, and has been one of the
town's premier sporting establishments ever since. We also have a very good
bar/social side at the club where people can sit and enjoy a pint or two while
they are watching sport on sky tv. The bar is open 7pm-11pm seven days a week.

| In 1980 Geoff Fanson and Barry White founded the
present day Harriers section. The club boasts almost 200 members and we are affiliated to the South of England
Athletic Association, which is in turn a member of the UK Athletics Association. |
